Use of YouTube components with extended data protection mode

On our website, we use components (videos) of the company YouTube, LLC 901 Cherry Ave, 94066 San Bruno, CA, USA, a company of Google Inc, Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. Here, we use the option “ – extended data protection mode – “ provided by YouTube. When you call up a page that has an embedded video, a connection is established to the YouTube servers and the content is displayed on the website by informing your browser.

Use of Facebook social plugins

We use social plugins („plugins“) of the social network facebook.com. These are operated by Facebook Ireland Ltd, 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland („Facebook“). Facebook is certified under the Privacy Shield agreement, thereby providing a guarantee that it complies with European data protection law (https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt0000000GnywAAC&status=Active).

When a user calls up this function, a direct connection is established with the Facebook servers. The content of the plugin is transmitted by Facebook directly to the user’s device and integrated into this page. Thereby, usage profiles of the user can be created from the processed data. We have no influence on the data that Facebook receives with the help of the plugin.

By integrating the plugins, Facebook receives information that a user has accessed the corresponding page of the online offer. If he is logged into Facebook, Facebook can assign him to his Facebook account. If users interact with plugins, for example by clicking the Like button or posting comments, the corresponding information is transmitted from your device directly to Facebook and stored there. If a user is not a member of Facebook, there is still a possibility that Facebook will learn and store his or her IP address. According to Facebook, however, only an anonymized IP address is stored in Germany.

If a user has a Facebook account and does not want Facebook to collect data about him or her via this website and link it to the membership data stored by Facebook, he or she must log out of Facebook and delete his or her cookies before using our site. We use the Instagram service on our website. Instagram is a service of Instagram Inc.
